Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and talented individual with who has in-depth technical mastery and sharp learning agility in developing superior propositions for the Indian consumer. The assignment will cover consumer work and go to market support - a very wide range of responsibilities that can enrich your experiences and benefit your career development. You can expect to develop significant knowledge mastery in consumer research as well as some aspects of product development.

YOUR TEAM

Located at Mumbai, India, you will report to an on-site manager and be part of a growing team of functional and technical experts in leading projects across the region.

HOW SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Over time, you will become a consumer research specialist and be expected to:

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of a broad range of technical tests, can summarize these tests independently, and make correlations to in-depth observations

  • Communicate results clearly and concisely to manager/coach/co-workers and other team resources.

  • Take personal ownership for assigned work and demonstrates confidence in data, results, and recommendations.

  • Be proficient at leveraging technical knowledge, infrastructure, and insights to optimize the experimentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

The key deliverables of this assignment include:

  • Lead and qualify a winning product proposition via consumer and technical evaluations.

  • Lead learning plan proposal, and execute a broad range of consumer researches.

  • Identify insights can be translated into winning product innovation or consumer appeal claims though hands-on experiments.

  • Identify key consumer claims and lead claim support. Lead demo development, validation, documentation and approval process.

  • Lead development of formula cards that support regional material qualifications, BCPs (Business Continuity Planning) and product qualifications.

  • Lead monthly consumer comments monitor, analysis, follow -up and share recommendations when different trend observed vs prediction.

  • You will coordinate and manage technical testing via collaboration with Analytical team located in other sites.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated strong technical mastery in his/her current project with technical rigor. Understand the business/project needs, can define and align learning plan that consistent with project priorities. Can operate lab experiments independently, has strong observational skills that inform potential improvements to experiments and/or project direction.

  • Executes with excellence. Can deliver and document accurate results of broad range of consumer tests with great reliability and in a way that aids to drive decision making. Understands and applies relevant SOPs, CBAs etc. to ensure the work is compliant.

  • Able to troubleshoot and define complex technical problems. When needed, seeks internal/external resources to solve the issues in timely manner.

  • The ideal candidate should have high level of technical curiosity, always seek out ways to apply new knowledge, approaches or skills to improve reliability, productivity and robustness of results.

  • PR and basic PD skills and experiences are strongly desired but not a must if learning agility is demonstrated.

Job Qualifications

PREREQUISITES

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmacy, or Engineering from top universities with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience OR Master’s in Science, Pharmacy or Engineering from top universities with 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement systemic fixes.

  • Influencing Skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills across all organizational levels.

  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.

This role will require some travel within India and abroad hence the candidate should be open to travel.
