Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities :
Design and execute DCS engineering activities in service projects with low to medium complexity, according to Standard work instructions, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Energy Industry Division for Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Evaluates, selects and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform Engineering assignments in projects.
- Assists in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs.
- Identify customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as-is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources.
- Create work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
- Completes risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.
- Provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
Qualifications for the role :
- Degree - Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications.
- Bachelor's Minimum 3~8 years of hands-on Process /Safety System Experience predominantly in Application Engineering,HMI,3rd party Communication, FAT and SAT for Process Automation in any of the domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals. Should also have experience in Hardware
- Good Knowledge on Process /ICSS and Safety Systems (Fire & Gas Protection Systems / Emergency Shutdown Systems)
- Knowledge on IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 and NORSOK standards
- Knowledge on Brownfield scope of work for DCS - Modifications, Retrofits, Upgrades, Service and commissioning
- Knowledge on UNIX, Windows, .NET
- Knowledge on Third party Communication like MODBUS, OPC..etc
- Experience in any ABB systems like 800xA, SG400, Advant, MOD300, AC800M, Melody, AC500 etc, will be an added advantage.
