Summary:

In this role, you will lead complex Indirect Spend consulting engagements that drive measurable value across clients’ systems of care. You will oversee a substantial portfolio of engagements, guide project teams, and apply data-driven insights and deep subject matter expertise to solve complex business challenges. You will build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, identify opportunities to expand client value, and contribute to the development and growth of Indirect Spend services and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams within the Indirect Spend functional area to drive client value and achieve engagement objectives.

  • Identify trends and apply data-driven insights to test hypotheses and develop recommendations for complex business challenges across clients’ systems of care.

  • Guide qualitative and quantitative analyses by leveraging client knowledge, industry experience, and subject matter expertise.

  • Plan and lead high-quality execution of complex projects, programs, and operations.

  • Manage project scope and profitability while overseeing a substantial annual portfolio of client engagements.

  • Develop and deliver influential communications with clarity, confidence, and persuasion to senior executive and C-suite audiences.

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting trusted advisor relationships with clients, including overall oversight of key client relationships.

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and serving as a subject matter expert throughout the sales process.

  • Identify new business opportunities by engaging clients to translate emerging issues, needs, and ideas into consulting opportunities.

  • Advance the Indirect Spend practice through the development, launch, and implementation of new or enhanced services and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Indirect Spend, strategic sourcing, procurement, consulting, or related areas.

  • Experience leading complex client engagements and managing a substantial portfolio of projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage project financial performance, scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with senior executives and C-suite clients.

  • Experience identifying business development, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities preferred.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.
