Position Overview and Objective

SolarWinds is seeking an Associate Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Global Marketing Operations team. You will support the Marketing team with tasks including Salesforce campaign creation and auditing, marketing learning sessions, marketing calendar management, and process documentation. The person will assist in planning, organizing, overseeing, and documenting specific marketing activity requests within global programs and projects.

We are looking for a self-starter who can proactively manage assigned tasks and has a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand requirements.

This role is designed as a growth path within the PH Marketing Operations pod. High performers will have opportunity to own automation projects and lead Marketing Learning Session programming.

Reports to: VP, Global PMO & Analytics and PH MOps lead
Day-to-day execution and training will be coordinated by the senior Marketing Operations Specialist on the PH pod

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and audit Salesforce campaigns, update campaign information, and coordinate efforts with stakeholders.
• Update and maintain internal presentations using templates provided by PH MOps Lead using Confluence or Microsoft Powerpoint
• Maintain existing SharePoint templates; propose refinements to PH MOps Lead for approval
• Manage Marketing Calendar entries, including events, webcasts, publications, and product launch dates.
• Execute MLS pre-production: build invites in Canva, upload to SharePoint, test email sends, set up Teams events; moderate and host live sessions.
• Manage webcast uploading using BrightTalk and coordinate with key stakeholders for localization requirements.
• Maintain Gold Cast event pages using templates
• Support Zapier automations
• Execute Asana task updates and dashboard maintenance

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or vocational school certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and Salesforce campaigns
• Basic knowledge of various webcast platforms (Goldcast, BrightTALK, Microsoft Teams)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Forms
• Experience with Asana or similar project management tools
• Willingness to learn automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier) under mentorship
• Comfortable with GenAI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) for content generation
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, global teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Developing an understanding of general marketing concepts
• Works under supervision and consults senior peers on projects to learn through experience
• A proactive thinker with a solid ability to manage tasks and projects independently, ensuring timely delivery.
• An innovative mentality to think creatively, and the ability to approach problems with divergent thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management tools and workflow building, such as Asana, is a plus.
• Experience with hosting events or event moderation is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo or Mailchimp, is a plus.
• Experience in creating, executing, and analyzing effective email marketing campaigns is a plus.
• Familiarity with content experience and personalization platforms, such as PathFactory and Hushly, is a plus.
• Experience in SQL querying with an analytical, curious, and data-driven mindset is a plus.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and ChatGPT, for marketing workflows is a plus.
