Job Summary:
The Associate Manager - Mechanical Recycling will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the mechanical recycling processes at Attero, with a focus on furnace operations and material recovery. This role requires a strong background in metallurgy and mechanical systems, with a particular emphasis on furnace operation. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in MS Excel for process monitoring and reporting, and have excellent communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities:· Mechanical Recycling Operations:
- Supervise and manage the mechanical recycling process, focusing on maximizing efficiency and production.
- Candidate should have knowledge of furnace mechanism and working.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to improve the performance of mechanical recycling systems.
· Metallurgy Expertise:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of metallurgy to optimize the extraction of metals (both ferrous and non-ferrous) from e-waste.
- Conduct metallurgical analysis to enhance the yield and quality of recovered materials.
- Recommend process modifications based on technical analysis and industry best practices.
· Process Monitoring and Reporting:
- Use MS Excel for data analysis, generating reports on recycling performance, material recovery rates, and furnace operation metrics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements to ensure the effectiveness of mechanical recycling processes.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, challenges, and optimization opportunities.
· Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality control, and operations to drive process improvements.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on best practices and technical aspects of mechanical recycling.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical recycling, metals recovery, or a related industry, with a strong focus on furnace operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in metallurgy and material recovery, particularly from e-waste or similar materials.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing mechanical systems and processes in a recycling environment.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical recycling, metals recovery, or a related industry
- Strong experience and knowledge of furnace operations
