Role Summary
The Associate Manager, HR Operations & Technology plays a key role in driving operational excellence, HR system optimization, workforce analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives across the People function.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Transformation, this role supports the delivery of HR technology projects, process standardization, reporting solutions, and employee lifecycle operations. The role combines HR operational expertise with strong technical and analytical capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance employee experience, and enable data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Excellence
- Support and optimize end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
- Drive process standardization and simplification across regions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.
- Support development and monitoring of operational KPIs and service levels.
HRMS & Technology Support
- Act as a functional expert for HR technology platforms.
- Support system configuration, testing, upgrades and enhancements.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Work with HR, IT and vendors on issue resolution and change requests.
- Support integrations between HR systems, payroll and downstream applications.
Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Develop Power BI dashboards and workforce reporting solutions.
- Analyse workforce trends including:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Diversity
- Hiring metrics
- Organizational effectiveness
- Produce executive reporting and insights.
- Improve data quality and governance standards across HR systems.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities to improve reporting accuracy.
Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Support implementation of HR transformation initiatives.
- Document current and future-state processes.
- Participate in HRIS implementation and enhancement projects.
- Assist with automation and digitalization programs.
- Maintain project documentation and status reporting.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, Finance and IT teams.
- Translate business requirements into system and reporting solutions.
- Provide end-user support and training where required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 8-9 years' experience in HR Operations, HRIS, HR Shared Services or HR Technology.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience working with HRMS platforms such as:
- Oracle Fusion
- Workday
- SuccessFactors
- ServiceNow HRSD
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and data modelling.
- Experience with HR data management and governance.
Preferred
- Experience supporting HRIS implementation or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of integrations, APIs and system interfaces.
- Experience working in global organizations.
- Understanding of Agile, Lean or process improvement methodologies.
