As an associate manager at Global Payments, you will take ownership for the delivery of business critical products. We are looking for someone to manage a delivery team that can lead innovation, drive improvements, set technical direction, and consistently meet the needs of the business.
You will:

Manage technical talent acquisition, growth and retention

Work with product and key stakeholders to set desired product roadmaps

Drive critical improvements to stay ahead of the growing business needs

Evaluate new technologies and delivery practices
-
Drive accurate and efficient project estimates
-
Create project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and allocate resources
-
Develop capacity plans and skills assessments
-
Stay up to date on the latest security threats and secure application design and coding practices
-
Manage third party consultants
-
Lead the design, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, security and scalability of your solutions

Foster a culture to stay on top of technology trends and participate in technology communities
-
Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
-
Lead and mentor a team of development, quality assurance, and support engineers
-
Simultaneously drive multiple large initiatives potentially across multiple scrum teams
-
Prepare and present technical presentations and project status

Provide required information for the annual budget
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
At least 12 years experience in software development using Microsoft .net stack
-
At least 3 years experience in agile practices and project management
-
At least 2 years experience as a team lead / technical lead
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience developing and managing cloud solutions
-
Payments industry experience
-
1 year or more experience in team management
