We have an opportunity to join our global Human Resources Business Partner team as an Associate HR Business Partner! This role partners with the HR Business Partners Leads with planning, execution, analysis and tracking relating to their strategic partnership with senior business leaders and centers of excellence and may work with various business groups include staff functions, wealth management, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HRBP leads and partner with COE's to understand business and HR strategies and support the implementation of HR initiatives that support those strategies. Support the tracking of projects, action plans or strategic initiatives led by the HRBP which may require input from multiple HR teams.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partner teams in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and practices by way of communications planning, project management, data gathering, analysis and reporting.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring progress on key cyclical HR processes ensuring global consistency, such as goal and development planning, year-end processes, talent review and employee performance evaluations.
  • Support the preparation of professional and impactful documents and presentations required by HRBPs for discussion and influencing at senior leadership forums or 1:1s, e.g. preparation of example organization charts, collation of data & external trend information into presentation to support discussion about business unit's people strategy.
  • Prepare essential reporting of HR data for presentation by the HRBP at business unit level committees and meetings.
  • Complete data analysis to test and explore hypotheses proposed by the HRBP for the purpose of identifying human capital issues and influencing and catalysing change. Support the presentation of data in an impactful and illustrative way.
  • Responsible for the HR data and reporting needs of the team, using computer applications such as Excel, Human Resource Information Systems, and general database and reporting management knowledge. Evaluate business needs and communicate with the HR Reporting area, to ensure HR Business Partners have the data necessary for both routine and ad hoc reporting, or projects in order to solve business challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (4 years of experience)
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • General human resources experience
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence communicating to a variety of levels across the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Power Point)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in Financial Services
  • Previous knowledge and usage of Workday
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM SCP certified
