We are seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join our Operations team. In this role, you will work with colleagues across multiple functions and locations to support critical operational processes that underpin investment management activities. This position offers excellent exposure to financial markets, investment operations, and operational risk management while providing opportunities for professional development and career growth. 

What You Can Expect 

As an Investment Operations Associate, you will: 

  • Perform reconciliations across various data sources to ensure completeness and accuracy of records. 

  • Investigate, analyse, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. 

  • Support the preparation and review of operational and client reporting deliverables. 

  • Monitor daily operational activities and escalate issues where appropriate. 

  • Work closely with internal teams and external business partners to resolve exceptions and improve processes. 

  • Maintain a strong focus on risk management, controls, and data quality. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains. 

  • Participate in project work and support the implementation of operational enhancements. 

What You Will Bring 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. 

  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to ownership and accountability. 

  • Understanding of financial markets and investment securities, including bonds, equities, and related products. 

Preferred Experience 

  • Previous experience in financial services, investment operations, fund administration, custody, reconciliation, or a related operational role. 

  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, or operational workflows. 

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or process improvement initiatives.
