Associate - Finance Operations - ITP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out credit payable activities and ensure proper mechanisms are put in place to settle money within the set credit period.
- Implement lean initiatives to eliminate waste and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of the processes to achieve an effective and efficient way of working.
- Identify and implement process/system improvements/ developments in order to facilitate an efficient business process.
- Achieve monthly targets for Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt and advances / Invoice Collection in assigned SBUs in order to meet organizational demands, as applicable.
- Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, assist internal and external audits and advising on matters such as, suspected fraud and duplicate payments to maintain internal control systems while ensuring compliance with financial legislation and standards.
- Ensure timely & accurate payment processing and/or liability booking for assigned SBUs (Strategic Business Units).
- Support technology-driven process improvements by identifying automation opportunities and assisting in system testing and implementation.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Finance / Financial accounting/ Economics / CIMA, ACCA or ICASL or equivalent professional qualification
- 1.5 – 3 years of relevant experience
Skills Required
- Degree in Finance, Financial Accounting, Economics or professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICASL) or equivalent
- 1.5 - 3 years of relevant finance/accounts payable experience
- Experience with accounts payable, payment processing and liability booking
- Knowledge of internal controls, fraud detection, and audit support
- Experience with process improvement and lean initiatives
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and support system testing/implementation
