Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining Unichela - Slimtex as an Executive ‐ production based at Kuliyapitiya to achieve the budgeted KPIs of the plant through close coordination with the relevant internal teams and thereby achieve the customer requirements on Production in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery targets, and budgeted KPIs.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions in collaboration with Industrial Engineering and Work Study teams.
- Support style changeovers and analyze production feasibility to achieve planned efficiency targets.
- Ensure compliance with 6S, Health & Safety, social compliance, and lean manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Technical, HR, and Maintenance to achieve operational objectives.
- Support employee development by identifying training needs, improving team performance, and maintaining positive employee relations.
- Track production performance, prepare reports, and update management on operational progress and key issues.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering or Physical Sciences.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP, SAP systems for production planning and reporting.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, communication and people management skills.
