Key Responsibilities:
Document Review:
- Review and analyse large volumes of documents, including emails, contracts, and other company documents, to identify relevant information.
- Apply coding and tagging protocols to documents based on project requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in document review and coding.
Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on documents reviewed by team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Provide feedback and guidance to team members to improve quality and efficiency.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with paralegals, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions to improve processes and workflows.
Time Management:
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) or related field.
- Preference for candidates with a background in law, legal studies, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in document review, legal research, or a related field.
- Experience working in an LPO or law firm environment is a plus.
3. Skills:
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Viewpoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with legal research databases and tools.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
