Microsoft’s Creative, Advertising & Integrated Marketing team is looking for an ACD Advertising to join our team supporting Windows, Devices and Services.
You are first and foremost an advertising creative: a conceptual thinker and storyteller who knows how to turn strategy and product truth into ideas people notice and remember. You’ll help create paid media and advertising campaigns for some of Microsoft’s most recognized products and services.
This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll concept big campaign ideas, write scripts, develop headlines and messaging systems, and work closely with art directors, designers, producers, strategists, and agency partners to bring ideas from the first sketch to the finished work.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop original advertising concepts and paid media messaging platforms for Windows, Surface devices, and Services.
Create scripts for television commercials, online films, social content, product films, and other forms of branded storytelling.
Create sharp, memorable headlines and copy for advertising, banners, social, OOH, and campaign extensions.
Translate strategy, consumer insights, and product truths into simple, compelling creative ideas.
Concept in close partnership with art directors and designers, building ideas together rather than treating copy and visuals as separate disciplines.
Help define campaign narratives, messaging architectures, naming, taglines, and creative platforms.
Develop social-first ideas that are native to the culture, behavior, and formats of each platform.
Present creative concepts clearly and persuasively to creative leadership, marketing partners, senior stakeholders, and external agencies.
Partner with producers, directors, editors, designers, and production teams throughout film and content production.
Guide work through development and production while protecting the core idea and raising the level of craft.
Collaborate with external advertising agencies and production partners, helping establish a clear creative vision and ensuring the work meets a high creative standard.
Work across multiple projects and timelines while maintaining clarity, originality, and attention to craft.
