A Day in the LifeThis Associate Contract & Payment Analyst role is for someone who is analytical, has strong attention to detail, highly organized, collaborative, and enjoys project work. The Marketing Shared Services environment is a dynamic, evolving environment interfacing with a variety of customer types across Medtronic. Specifically, in this role, the Associate Contract & Payment Analyst is responsible for processing a variety of customer contracts and/or payments which require personal skills in communication, analytics, auditing, project work, and administrative support while independently performing these tasks in support of business needs. Critical to this role is the ability to bring cross-functional roles together to collaborate and align standard business practices impacting good business decisions and outcomes.A career at Medtronic is like no other. This role is remote. Candidates will need to be in Colombia to be considered.
A Day in the Life
Receive and process requests to create contract records
Partner with legal department for the creation of U.S. and International HCP consulting agreements and other contract needs
Process invoices, check requests and other billing requirements
Perform audits on incoming requests
Data Entry for Sunshine Reporting
Maintain up-to-date departmental policies & procedures
Communicates effectively to internal and external customers via phone, email and systems
Collaborates cross-functionally to execute tasks in a timely manner
Works individually or with a team in recommending action and managing projects to completion
Perform various projects as assigned
Identifies, defines and addresses problems that are not immediately evident
Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources
May design processes to enhance workflow
Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
Travel requirement: Less than 10%
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process.
Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables.
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
Gathers and compiles information for reports.
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, with 1-2 years of experience working with contracts or in a contract-related capacity
Advanced fluency in English
Excellent written and oral communications
Strong project management and critical thinking skills
High degree of organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and follow through
Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with these systems: Workfront and Onit
Customer services experience
Reporting and analytical experience
Medical Device Industry experience
Familiarity with SAP
Familiarity with the U.S. Sunshine Act
Proficiency with MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Proficient in Portuguese
