The Associate Business Intelligence Analyst uses Power BI, SQL, and other tools to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights that support organizational decision-making and business growth.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop data transformations, reports, and data models to support business needs.
- Apply BI tools and techniques to analytics projects.
- Improve and automate data assets and maintain documentation.
- Build BI programs to process, extract, and summarize data across datasets.
- Monitor scheduled and automated data processes.
- Create data models that support business intelligence reporting.
- Reconcile system data regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Analyze and optimize queries for performance and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with data sources and building data models, especially in Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL, Excel, Power BI data models, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
- Understanding of SQL database management practices.
- Ability to learn data security models (e.g., Row-Level Security).
- Ability to learn query optimization techniques for large datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years in analytics or reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and cross‑team collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities independently.
