Your Role:

This Associate Brand Manager role will report into a Senior Brand Manager and is an integral member of the marketing team, responsible for helping execute the brand strategy to continue driving tremendous growth nationally for Vital Farms. This role requires a self-motivated person who can operate at the intersection of business portfolio management, product commercialization, and integrated marketing communications.

What You'll Do:

Integrated Marketing Communications: 

  • Support implementation of integrated marketing communications plans across paid, owned and earned media in collaboration with Portfolio, PR/Communications and external agency partners
  • Develop briefs for awareness-focused initiatives to build the Vital Farms brand
  • Generate, consolidate and deliver constructive feedback to key stakeholders to ensure campaigns and message meet brand and business objectives
  • Partner with agency teams to develop and execute paid media and creative strategies across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrate knowledge of consumer and category insights in planning and execution of strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives 

Product Management and Business Fundamentals 

  • Ongoing management and reporting of the comprehensive marketing budget
  • Analyze and provide actionable insights from media and consumption reporting, including assessments of consumer trends, competitive activity, and the evolving business landscape
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to develop selling stories and sales materials
  • Collaborate with agency partners to determine ROI of paid media investments and campaigns with actionable recommendations
  • Lead cross-functional team members in the commercialization of new products, product changes, and/or quality improvements
  • Tackle various other interesting projects to help us grow at Vital Farms 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Passion for ethical food and purpose-driven brands
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business with 2-3 years of relevant work experience; at least 1-2 years as a Brand Assistant or Associate Brand Manager strongly preferred  
  • Ability to 20-30% travel as needed for team offsites, agency meetings and productions
  • Prior experience in Syndicated Data platforms, Circana (IRI), SPINS, Numerator and Neilson preferred 
  • Excellent business acumen with a curiosity and passion for understanding the business holistically with a general management approach
  • Demonstrated successes in roles with increasing responsibility, including experience in CPG brand management with proven business and brand results
  • Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with detailed, in-the-moment thinking
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights and storytelling from data
  • Ability to manage several different projects at a time with competing levels of urgency
  • Ability to develop strong relationships across internal and external partners with sound interpersonal skills (ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, collaborative attitude, and a strong team player)
  • Self-starter who can tackle and lead projects where there may be no precedence

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
