The Associate Account Sales Executive - Modern Retail creates business relationships and increases incremental revenue to CDK clients through face-to-face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products to grow CDK's share of wallet in existing client base; specifically focused on selling our Modern Retail Solutions (CRM and Digital) to existing CDK customers. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

• Under guidance provided from Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:
  • Identify new Modern Retail opportunities with existing customers
  • Grow and maintain existing accounts
  • Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach.
• Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of outside b2b sales experience.
• Experience using consultative solution selling to align client's business needs with a solution
• Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
• Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client
• 75% travel with overnight travel expected

Preferred Attributes & Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive retail industry or CDK knowledge/experience - preferred but not requird
• Initiative and self-starter

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred, not required

Salary = $65,000 + Commissions + Benefits
