The Application Development and Design team supports TransUnion’s global business and consumer systems by improving the efficiency of business operations, applications, and operating systems. We appreciate quick-learning IT professionals with inner drive, a strong work ethic and the desire to grow.As a Software Tester in one of our GCC teams, your knowledge and enthusiasm for delivering quality will help ensure a solid test approach is followed, and satisfactory levels of test coverage are applied to flagship TransUnion products ensuring they meet client requirements and regulations. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- API Testing Tools: Advanced experience with Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Automation Frameworks: Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright for UI automation.
- Performance Testing: Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner for load and stress testing.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience integrating tests into pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Containerization & Virtualization: Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for test environments.
- Cloud Testing: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP testing strategies.
- Mobile Testing: Experience with Appium or similar tools for Android/iOS testing.
- Security Testing: Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and penetration testing basics.
- Data Validation: Strong SQL skills for backend validation and data integrity checks.
- Test Management Tools: Proficiency in Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail for test case management.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- BDD/TDD: Experience with Behavior-Driven Development using Gherkin/Cucumber.
- Shift-Left Testing: Ability to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle.
- Exploratory Testing: Skilled in identifying edge cases and usability issues.
- Risk-Based Testing: Prioritizing tests based on business impact and risk.
