Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Hong Kong Reinsurance Broking Team. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the management of a portfolio of treaty reinsurance clients, assisting with renewals and day-to-day account servicing

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their business needs and support relationship development

  • Assist in reinsurer placement and execution, contributing to carrier engagement and negotiation strategies

  • Help organize client events and promotional initiatives to enhance the visibility of GC’s value proposition

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to the building of an effective client service team

  • Provide guidance to junior staff, supporting their development under the direction of senior team members

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; academic background in quantitative, business, or finance-related fields is preferred

  • At least 6–8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a minimum of 3 years in reinsurance

  • Solid understanding of treaty reinsurance; prior experience in broking or placement coordination is advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage communications across internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated client service orientation and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with keen attention to detail

  • Professional credentials such as Actuarial, Law, or Insurance-related qualifications are a plus
