A high-impact regional leadership opportunity within the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor. This is an opportunity to define and accelerate Marsh’s Auto Affinity strategy across Asia, partnering with country leadership, international teams and functional specialists across a diverse set of markets. This is a highly visible role leading business growth, market development, client engagement, product innovation and strategic execution across the region. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-evolving automotive and mobility landscape spanning mature, emerging, and high-growth Asian markets.

We will count on you to:

Regional strategy and leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of Marsh’s Auto Affinity strategy across Asia, ensuring alignment with global priorities while adapting to local market realities, competitive dynamics and regulatory environments.
  • Shape the regional growth agenda for the segment across key Asian markets, identifying strategic opportunities by country, channel and partner ecosystem.
  • Work closely with country leaders and regional stakeholders to define market priorities, go-to-market strategies and execution plans that support sustainable growth.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter leader for Auto Affinity, bringing a strong perspective on market trends, customer needs, distribution models and insurer appetite across Asia.
  • Build a clear strategic roadmap for growth across the automotive ecosystem, including OEMs, dealers, distributors, financial institutions, digital platforms, mobility providers and affinity partners.

Business development and market expansion

  • Identify, prioritize and lead new business development opportunities across Asia to expand Marsh’s presence in Auto Affinity.
  • Originate and lead strategic client and prospect engagements, including major pitches, relationship development, solution structuring and commercial negotiations.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, prospects, insurers, reinsurers and key market participants to strengthen Marsh’s regional relevance and commercial position.
  • Assess market attractiveness, partner potential and competitive positioning across countries to inform expansion and investment decisions.
  • Represent Marsh at industry events, client forums and relevant market engagements to enhance visibility and support business development efforts.

Client solutions, product innovation, and execution

  • Develop and enhance innovative Auto Affinity products and placement solutions that are scalable across Asia while remaining responsive to local customer, regulatory and operational requirements. Deep expertise in extended warranty and other insurance products distributed through OEMs and auto dealers is a strong priority.
  • Partner with country teams, placement, claims, operations, analytics, digital and technology stakeholders to build integrated, client-centric solutions.
  • Support major regional and local clients with specialist expertise, strategic guidance and execution support relating to program design, distribution, servicing and placement.
  • Lead the development of digital-enabled and data-driven solutions that improve customer experience, support partner distribution and strengthen operational scalability.
  • Promote the use of analytics, reporting and performance insights to improve decision-making, demonstrate value and optimize program outcomes.
  • Negotiate with insurance and reinsurance markets to secure competitive capacity, pricing, and terms aligned to client objectives.

Matrix leadership and regional collaboration

  • Influence and coordinate a matrix of country leaders, segment specialists and functional teams to drive consistent execution across Asia.
  • Support country C&C / Affinity leaders and local teams on segment opportunities, client needs, market strategy and specialist actions required to win and retain business.
  • Foster collaboration across Marsh specialties to deliver the full strength of the firm to clients and prospects.
  • Align Asia segment priorities with international and global account needs, ensuring the business is positioned to support multinational and regional client relationships.
  • Lead education, capability-building, and knowledge-sharing efforts across the region to strengthen segment expertise and commercial effectiveness.

Financial, governance, and operational management

  • Develop and manage the regional business plan and budget for Auto Affinity in Asia, with accountability for growth, profitability and disciplined resource allocation.
  • Monitor pipeline, revenue performance, account profitability and overall segment health across the region.
  • Help design scalable governance, operating frameworks and execution standards that support growth while maintaining quality and control.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with contractual requirements, internal governance standards and applicable regulatory expectations across the region.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Significant experience in affinity, consumer distribution, partnerships, schemes or product and service distribution within the automotive, mobility, or adjacent ecosystem, with particular expertise in auto extended warranty, ancillary lines such as Tire and GAP and MVI distributed through auto OEM and dealer channels.
  • Strong regional experience across Asia, with demonstrated success working across multiple markets and navigating diverse business, cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Proven track record in business development, strategic planning and leadership of client and partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of insurance distribution, underwriting and placement dynamics and insurer engagement across commercial and/ or consumer lines.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies, propositions and scalable solutions in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed regional organization and work effectively with senior stakeholders across countries and functions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing business plans, budgets, pipelines and growth targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of an Asian language would be beneficial.
