Key Responsibilities
Core Analytical Work
- Conduct RMBS transaction analysis, including assessment of collateral characteristics, deal structures, credit enhancement levels, and legal frameworks.
- Identify and focus on key credit issues during the new‑issue rating process.
- Review and evaluate banker cash‑flow model outputs, providing feedback on structural assumptions.
Committee & Internal Collaboration
- Serve as a co‑lead or back‑up analyst on selected transactions.
- Present analytical findings to rating committees with clarity and confidence.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate and consistent application of criteria.
Modeling & Methodology
- Contribute to the enhancement of structured finance criteria, models, and analytical tools.
- Perform sensitivities, transaction comparisons, and stress‑testing tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
Research & Publications
- Produce and publish market updates, newsletters, or concise commentary with minimal supervision.
External Engagement
- Participate in meetings with bankers, issuers, investors, and other market participants to discuss transaction details and analytical considerations.
- Represent the team professionally in all client‑facing interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, math, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, banking, mortgage finance, or a relevant analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office applications.
- Organized, deadline‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Base Salary Compensation Range
