Assistant - Sustainability

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, energy, water consumption, and environmental impact.

· Monitor and maintain sustainability related data, including energy, water, waste, emissions, and other environmental KPIs.

· Assist in preparing sustainability reports, maintaining records, and analysing data to track sustainability performance.

· Support environmental compliance activities, internal audits, and adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.

· Assist in implementing sustainability projects such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, resource conservation, and sustainable sourcing.

· Coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers to promote and integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.

· Support employee awareness and training programs to promote sustainability practices and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.

· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the implementation of actions to improve the organization’s sustainability performance.

Qualification and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, Eco Business Management, Physical Science, Sustainability,    Textile Engineering, or a related field.

· Prior experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, environmental standards, and industry    requirements.

· Good analytical and data management skills, with the ability to prepare reports and monitor KPIs.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments  and stakeholders.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong interest in environmental sustainability, continuous improvement, and responsible manufacturing practices.
