Keeley Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Accountant to join our Accounting Group in St. Louis, MO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for responding to all vendor and subcontractor payment inquiries.
- Responsible for Lien Waiver compliance on all operations jobs for the company.
- Assisting Project Accountants with owner billing documentation preparation.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments.
- Generating reports to analyze vendor payment trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
- Reviewing vendor contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with payment terms and conditions.
- Collaborating with purchasing and procurement teams to resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies on vendor invoices.
- Processing job setup & owner invoice imports from external systems into ERP.
- Responsible for maintaining all owner invoicing sites with monthly billings.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience holding similar primary responsibilities or construction experience preferred.
- CMIC, AIA Pay Application, and Lien Waiver experience preferred.
- Full-cycle AP experience preferred.
- Ability to learn construction accounting systems/software.
