Position Summary
Resource is responsible for assisting MetLife by Version Management and code deployment (IBM UCD) to all environments. Build Tools Staff in the support of Application Development Teams. In this position resource will be supporting MetLife applications in an operational role performing on boarding applications, troubleshooting build issues, and supporting the version management tool stack. Automate any of the manual build process using CI/CD pipeline.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement deployment scripts in IBM UCD for various artifacts such as WAR, EAR, ZIP, JAR, etc.
- Handle mobile application deployments for Android and iOS platforms
- Provide Level 2 support for issues related to deployment automation and scripts in UCD
- Perform the installation of Azure DevOps agents on environment servers using Chef cookbooks
- Develop Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines for various applications using Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Perform troubleshooting problems with the CI tool stack
- Administration of the CI Toolset for tool access and project creation.
- Assist in the on-boarding of Application Development Teams into CI/CD mechanism
- Handle Tanium deployments
- Collaborate with Software Development teams to troubleshoot issues
- Learn new technologies based on demand.
- Good decision-making skills
- Willing to work in rotational shifts
- Good Communication skill with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience
- 7+ years of total experience and at least 4+ years of experience in d esigning and implementation of deployment scripts
- Handle deployments for all environments and troubleshoot the issues
- Experience in mobile application deployments for Android and iOS platform
- Azure DevOps agent installation on environment servers using Chef cookbooks
- Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
