Join us as Assistant Manager/Manager - Supply Chain Finance

Job Purpose
We are looking for a finance professional to support key areas of the Supply Chain, including Indirect Costs, Inventory, Business Waste, Fixed Assets, and Savings & Controls. In this role, you will help the business make sound financial decisions by ensuring cost discipline, strong financial controls, and clear insights. You will work closely with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, manage risks, and support initiatives that create sustainable value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting, tracking, and governance of Supply Chain Indirect Costs (people costs, travel & expenses, IT, and third-party services).

  • Manage inventory forecasting, reporting, analysis, and provisions to ensure accuracy and visibility.

  • Coordinate physical stock verifications and ensure compliance with internal control standards.

  • Lead business waste governance, including write-offs, provisions, disposals, and root-cause analysis.

  • Own savings governance, including planning, validation, tracking, and reporting of cost-saving initiatives; facilitate regular reviews with Supply Chain leadership.

  • Lead fixed asset governance, including asset tagging, capitalization accuracy, capital work-in-progress (CWIP) monitoring, and verification cycles.

  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance, supporting statutory, internal, and corporate audits.

  • Support month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and performance reporting.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency, strengthen financial transparency, and support decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Finance or Supply Chain Finance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Finance or related fields.

  • Strong experience in cost modelling, forecasting, financial analysis and controls.

  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, data analytics and PowerPoint.

  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to convert data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Part/ fully qualified Post graduate programs and/ or professional qualifications such as CIMA/ACCA would be an added advantage.

  • Experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or FMCG environments.

  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems and financial controls.
