Dynamics of the Role
The role will be responsible for managing key practices for invoicing and revenue control. Laison with stakeholders across sales and pricing team effectively. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Ensuring strong internal controls over volume in IT and Operations databases
  • Working closely with sales and pricing strategy teams to ensure availability of correct versions of standard price lists and all volume discount contracts, that form basis for invoices
  • Ensuring accurate calculations of sales incentives and adherence to timelines
  • Raising invoices and DN/CNs for Bureau’s and services’ sales, duly reconciled to volumes in IT and Operations databases
  • Ensuring review of all special pricing contracts as per approval
  • Review of all expired special pricing contracts and coordination with sales on way forward
  • Getting approvals for invoiced quantity differences vs these databases, with proper explanations, and then storing these properly for audit trail
  • Making monthly sales summary (including all DN/CNs and volume discount provisions)
  • Coordination with various departments for smooth month end closures on relevant details
  • Responsible for existence of proper internal controls (including compliance to COFIC) and ensuring timely statutory & internal audits in own area
  • Ensuring compliance to all legal and ISO requirements in own area
  • Responsible for existence of proper internal controls and ensuring timely statutory, SOX & internal audits
  • Collaborate with various internal units for process integration; ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Assist in implementation of department wide best practices and ensure adherence to same
  • Other responsibilities that may be given by the Manager, from time to time

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • MBA Finance/ master’s degree in accounting or finance / business or any related stream.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Positive attitude and eye for detail
  • Working knowledge of taxation area w.r.t GST & TDS
  • Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013
  • Ability to articulate issues well, in simple and concise language
  • Good with numbers and data crunching
  • Ability to go behind variance numbers and determine core issues / root causes
  • Good communication skills, including writing business mails
  • Strong collaborative nature, while also being able to ensure getting things done on time
  • Lots of energy and passion for work execution and doing things in a better way
  • Willingness to learn and grow within Finance team, by observing other areas
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, i.e; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Innovative in bringing new automations with the respective areas & analytical skills

Skills Required

  • MBA Finance or master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
  • Working knowledge of GST and TDS taxation
  • Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013
