Team Overview
The Global Data & Analytics (GDA) team at TransUnion delivers advanced analytics, data science, and AI-driven solutions that power marketing, risk, and decisioning products across global markets. The team works on large-scale consumer data assets to build predictive models and actionable insights that enable clients to make smarter business decisions.This team typically operates within the broader Data Science & Analytics (DSA) function, partnering closely with cross-functional business, product, and client teams to translate analytics into measurable business impact. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop predictive and audience (lookalike) models leveraging TransUnion’s proprietary data assets to support client acquisition, targeting, and engagement strategies
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients (e.g., media agencies, retailers, data platforms) to understand business needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions
- Build and execute descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics use cases using techniques such as regression, clustering, segmentation, and ensemble models
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, scripts, and workflows for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and analysis using Python, R, SQL, and Spark
- Generate actionable insights from transactional and demographic datasets, translating findings into clear business recommendations and executive-level presentations
- Contribute to the end-to-end analytics lifecycle—from problem definition and model development to deployment support and performance monitoring
- Identify opportunities to enhance product value propositions and drive adoption of TransUnion’s analytics offerings across customer segments
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment to deliver multiple concurrent projects with measurable outcomes on time and with high quality

- 2+ years of analytics experience (including internships) in financial services or related industries – Ensures familiarity with real-world data challenges, stakeholder expectations, and delivery rigor
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent experience – Provides the foundational analytical and problem-solving capability required for the role
