Engineer- Design (Static Equipment)

Dy. Manager, Sr. Engineer

4.3 Primary Objective

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented design engineer to join our creative team. As the design engineer, should have hands on experience on Static Equipment like Pressure Vessel, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Hoppers, Cartridge Filters, Bag Filters, Moisture Separators, Special equipments used in Pneumatic conveying system etc.

Assembly, and fabrication drawings, Calculation Reports. Able to interface with other disciplines for carrying out activities related to static equipment engineering. Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills Qualifications.

Essential Skills/Experience

• B.E/B.Tech Mechanical
• 1-3 years of experience as a Static Equipment Design Engineer Primary
• Design skills and knowledge
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology
• Able to produce new ways of doing things
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Analytical thinking skills
• Persistence and determination
• CAD proficiency
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Materials and manufacturing process knowledge
• Project management
• Communication skills

Main Role & Responsibilities

Able to design and do the calculations of static equipment used in Pneumatic conveying systems as   per the standards like ASME SEC VIII DIV 1. Efficient in designing shell and tube heat exchangers by using TEMA. Efficient in PV Elite software. Cost estimation of Equipment as per the Coperion standards. Checking of Drawings as per ASME standards. Co-ordinating with the cross-functional team for resolving comments and queries. Guide the draughtsman in preparing in GAD. Prepare and check procurement engineering documents like tender documents, technical bid analysis, and purchase recommendations.
