White Oak of Shelby is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This is a full time salaried position

This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak of Shelby team! We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.  

  • The ideal candidate is flexible, innovative, and exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
  • Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
  • Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
  • Long term care and supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities
