White Oak of Charlotte is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversees the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This position opening is for an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN (full time, salary)

This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak of Charlotte team! We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.

  • The ideal candidate is flexible and innovative with exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
  • Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
  • Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
  • RN and/or a minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in Geriatrics
  • Long term care and supervisory experience required
  • Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities

Skills Required

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum three years' supervisory experience (preferably in geriatrics)
  • Long-term care experience
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local long-term care regulations
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
