MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assisting the Senior Management team to develop department Strategy and drive Sales through team KPI’s
Support the Department Manager with Floor operations and results, HR matters, lead a team of 15+ Sales associates and follow their development in place via monthly 121s
Accountable to suggest commercial improvements across the department
Deliver total customer satisfaction to every customer, following the end-to-end customer journey – from entering the store to leaving the store
Next line Manager after senior team to carry store responsibilities such open/close, store emergency evacuation and any others duties required by the management team.
Adhere to company’s policies and procedures
Perform other duties that as required from the management team
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Team Player
Proven experience in a supervisory or management position
Ability to lead and coach a team
Knowledge of retail KPIs
Previous experience in retail desirable
Demonstrate customer service skills
A passion for retail and sales
Desire to learn
Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
Understanding of POS register systems
Effective communication skills
Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
