Assist the Account Manager, Account Executive, Broker, and Producer in the servicing and management of insurance coverages for a complex book of clients in the energy sector. The Assistant Account Manager contributes to CAC Specialty Natural Resources business successes such as client satisfaction and retention while enhancing our unique approach to providing risk solutions to its clients.
Assist the CAC client team with day-to-day client servicing and overall workflow processes including, but not limited to the following:
- Maintain record of expiration dates on assigned accounts and coordinate with the team on new/renewal handling
- Assist in the insurance renewal process starting with obtaining necessary renewal materials from the incumbent such as renewal applications, loss runs, and other pertinent information required for underwriting purposes.
- Assist CAC client team in the creation of client presentations, proposals, and renewal summaries
- Assist in the insurance post-renewal process by tracking and reviewing binders of insurance, preparing, and issuing auto identification cards and certificates of insurance, handling the system billing and issuance of renewal invoices as well as coordinating premium financing (as needed)
- Manage and track all billing and accounting for both clients and carriers
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up with the client when necessary
- Assist in managing the client’s insurance program throughout the policy term, i.e., process endorsements, audits, ad hoc requests for certificates, and other relevant program information
- Assist in preparing client’s outline of insurance and update as needed
- Track policy issuance and follow up where needed
- Assist in policy reviews by conducting the initial policy review. This review is not expected to be legal in nature, but fact checking the policy on items such as premium, client name and address, etc.
- Forward all policies to client upon completion of review process and receipt of accurate policies in the manner designated by the client (e.g., electronic, paper file, etc.)
- Work with the CAC client team in responding directly to clients and underwriters to address questions, issues, or concerns
- Maintain Epic file and shared drive of key documents (i.e policies, endorsements, invoices, Autos ID Cards, Certificates, Audits etc.)
- Establish and maintain a good business relationship with clients, insurance carriers, and CAC Specialty colleagues
- Assist CAC client team with any special projects
- Other duties as assigned which may include general administrative duties related to meeting coordination, events, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- State specific license is required; may be obtained in first 90 days of employment
- 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
