The role focuses on platform management, execution, governance, and operations, while ensuring alignment with global GAIP architecture, security, and compliance standards.

You will work closely with global GAIP teams, Asia IT, data, security, and business stakeholders to deliver a secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready AI platform that supports multi-agent AI workflows and regulated business use cases across Asia markets. This role builds upon the global GAIP technical foundation while emphasizing regional rollout, operational excellence, and Center of Excellence (COE) establishment in Asia.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Asia GAIP Platform Ownership & Management

  • Act as the Asia platform management lead for GAIP, owning regional planning, execution, and operational governance across all Asia markets.

  • Serve as the primary Asia point of accountability for GAIP platform stability, scalability, and ongoing service delivery, in alignment with global GAIP standards.

  • Translate global GAIP roadmap and architecture into Asia-ready implementation and operational plans, considering regional regulatory and market needs.

2. Cross-Team Collaboration and Alignment

  • Drive cross-team collaboration across Asia IT, data, security, risk, and business teams, ensuring GAIP adoption is consistent and well-coordinated.

  • Partner with global GAIP architects and engineering teams to align Asia requirements with global platform evolution and capability layers.

  • Act as a key bridge between global GAIP and Asia delivery teams, resolving dependencies and alignment issues.

3. GAIP Access Control, Security, and Compliance Oversight

  • Provide regional oversight for GAIP access control, data security management, and platform-level privacy controls across Asia.

  • Ensure GAIP platform operations comply with regional regulatory and data privacy requirements, working closely with security, risk, and compliance stakeholders.

  • Oversee the implementation of security measures including identity and access management, encryption, and audit readiness within the platform lifecycle.

4. Platform Technical Support and Operations

  • Organize and provide technical support for the GAIP platform in Asia, including incident response, issue triage, and escalations.

  • Monitor platform health and proactively address performance, stability, connectivity, and scalability issues in coordination with global and local support teams.

  • Ensure operational processes support high availability, fault tolerance, and enterprise-grade reliability of GAIP services.

5. Asia Implementation, Maintenance, and Upgrade Coordination

  • Coordinate and plan GAIP platform implementation, rollout, maintenance, and upgrades across Asia markets.

  • Manage regional deployment sequencing and readiness, ensuring upgrades and changes minimize business disruption.

  • Ensure Asia implementations leverage cloud-native, automation-first practices consistent with GAIP design principles.

6. Engineering Practice and Capability Enhancement

  • Organize and manage engineering practice enhancement for GAIP in Asia, promoting reusable patterns, inner-source components, and platform standards.

  • Promote best practices in platform engineering, DevOps/MLOps, observability, and operational excellence.

  • Support continuous improvement of developer productivity, reliability, and compliance within the GAIP ecosystem.

7. Establishment of GAIP Asia Center of Excellence (COE)

  • Lead the establishment of a GAIP Asia Center of Excellence (COE) as the focal point for platform expertise, standards, and enablement.

  • Build and nurture regional GAIP capabilities, including knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and onboarding support for markets.

  • Position the COE as the hub for AI platform governance, best practices, and scaled adoption across Asia.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, with leadership experience in enterprise-scale platforms.

  • Strong background in distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and AI/ML infrastructure.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

  • Experience supporting AI platforms, multi-agent systems, or MLOps capabilities in production.

  • Familiarity with responsible AI, model governance, and audit requirements.
