Jeeny operates in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Pakistan, with offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Amman, Lahore, and Karachi.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly creative and strategic Art Director to lead and elevate our visual direction across all touchpoints. As an Art Director, you will be responsible for shaping the brand’s visual identity, guiding the creative team, and ensuring all outputs are conceptually strong, cohesive, and aligned with business objectives. You will not just design, you will define, direct, and inspire.
Responsibilities- Own the Visual Direction
- Define and evolve the brand’s visual identity across campaigns, digital platforms, and offline assets.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and innovation in all creative outputs.
- Lead Creative Concepting
- Translate briefs into strong, original creative concepts and campaign directions.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and set the creative tone for projects.
- Direct and Mentor the Design Team
- Guide Senior and Junior Designers, providing clear direction, feedback, and creative mentorship.
- Review and refine work to ensure it meets the highest creative standards.
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, content, product, and other stakeholders to align creative with strategy.
- Turn business objectives into compelling visual narratives.
- Oversee End to End Creative Execution
- Supervise projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and brand alignment.
- Balance hands on involvement with high level direction.
- Elevate Creative Standards
- Push the team beyond execution into conceptual thinking and storytelling.
- Introduce new visual approaches, tools, and trends to keep the brand ahead.
- Quality Control and Brand Guardianship
- Ensure all deliverables are polished, on brand, and detail perfect.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines as needed.
- Campaign and Production Oversight
- Art direct shoots, video productions, and large scale campaigns.
- Ensure visual storytelling is consistent across all formats including static, motion, digital, and print.
- Regional Market Alignment
- Lead and adapt creative output to effectively serve both KSA and Jordan markets.
- Ensure cultural relevance, tone, and visual nuances are tailored to each market while maintaining a unified brand identity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in design, with proven experience in an Art Director or senior leadership role.
- Strong agency background with experience working on multiple brands, fast paced campaigns, and high volume creative output is required.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating concept driven work, campaigns, and visual systems not just execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, typography, and visual systems.
- Experience leading and mentoring creative teams.
- Ability to think strategically while executing creatively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in motion, video direction, or 3D is a plus.
- Experience in fast paced environments including agency or in house is highly preferred.
