As a Workforce Management Manager at Aprio, you will be pivotal in ensuring optimal resource allocation both onshore and offshore, project delivery, and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess resource needs, optimize resource utilization, and drive strategic workforce planning initiatives.



Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with industry leaders, Pod leaders, engagement managers, and project leads to assess staffing needs and project requirements. 
  • Support the strategic movement of work to offshore resources while maintaining quality and efficiency. 
  • Maintain an accurate understanding of team members' skills, expertise, and capacity to facilitate efficient resource allocation.
  • Coordinate staffing assignments for client engagements, projects, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and client expectations. 
  • Monitor project timelines, workloads, and resource utilization to identify potential resource conflicts or capacity constraints. 
  • Embrace an Agile mindset to adapt to changing priorities, client demands, and project requirements effectively.
  • Proactively address resource allocation challenges by recommending adjustments, realignments, or additional staffing resources as needed. 
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, department leaders, and client project managers to optimize productivity and performance. 
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource management, project delivery, and client satisfaction. 
  • Implement best practices, policies, and procedures related to workforce management to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client service personnel and leverage these relationships to maximize change management and partnership opportunities. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce management and project management. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to negotiate timelines, priorities, and staffing assignments to achieve optimal outcomes for both clients and the team.

Qualifications:

  • Willing to work CST or EST.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Professional certification (e.g., RMCP, PMP, SHRM-CP) is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in resource management, data management, and workforce planning, preferably within a professional services firm or accounting environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, trends, and workforce metrics. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Power BI, resource management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to effectively collaborate with diverse personalities and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and effectively prioritize competing demands.
