About CIC Warsaw

About the Role
As AP/R2R Accounting Manager, you will lead the record-to-report (R2R) and accounts payable (AP) functions, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the general ledger, financial close process, and vendor payments. You manage a team and work closely with finance leadership to drive process improvements and automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the month-end and year-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), ensuring timely vendor payments and optimizing working capital
• Lead account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries, ensuring strong internal controls
• Identify and drive process automation and ERP enhancements to improve efficiency
• Facilitate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Lead and develop a small team, providing mentorship and technical guidance
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in R2R or AP-focused leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience in AP automation, ERP implementation, and financial process optimization
• Background in a multinational, subscription-based, or real estate company preferred
• Proficiency in NetSuite or other major ERPs
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Fluency in English required; Polish language skills are a plus
