The Apps & AI Solution Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale AI-powered applications and digital solutions that drive business transformation. The role combines expertise in application architecture, cloud-native development, data and AI platforms, security, integration, and business advisory capabilities to enable AI-first and agentic enterprise solutions.The architect serves as the trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, business leaders, and engineering teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business outcomes.

• Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications, AI solutions, and intelligent agents.
• Lead solution design across business applications, custom applications, data platforms, integrations, and AI services.
• Create architecture blueprints, reference architectures, target state roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs, technical risks, and technology selection decisions.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.

• Design AI-first and agentic business solutions using Generative AI, AI Agents, and Copilot technologies.
• Architect multi-agent orchestration patterns and AI-powered workflows.
• Design Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge grounding capabilities.
• Define AI model selection strategies and integration approaches.
• Establish AI observability, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive responsible AI adoption and governance.

• Architect cloud-native applications using microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and serverless patterns.
• Design modern web, mobile, and omnichannel application solutions.
• Lead API strategy, integration architecture, and application modernization initiatives.
• Define DevSecOps, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management strategies.

• Design enterprise data platforms supporting AI and analytics workloads.
• Define data governance, data quality, and information architecture standards.
• Architect integration solutions spanning SaaS, PaaS, on-premises, and partner ecosystems.
• Enable real-time data processing and intelligent automation capabilities.

• Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Design identity, access management, and Zero Trust controls.
• Establish AI security controls including prompt protection, model governance, data residency, and auditability.
• Perform architecture risk assessments and mitigation planning.

• Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and executive decision-making sessions.
• Build business cases, ROI models, and transformation plans.
• Align technology investments with measurable business outcomes.
• Present architecture recommendations to C-suite and senior stakeholders.

• Act as technical leader for complex transformation programs.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Build reusable patterns, accelerators, and reference architectures.
• Drive architecture governance and technical quality reviews.
• Influence customer executives and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to practice development and thought leadership.
• Lead innovation and adoption of emerging AI capabilities.

• 10+ years of enterprise application and solution architecture experience.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled business solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional architecture and engineering teams.

• Enterprise architecture certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Azure AI Engineer certification.
• Copilot Studio and Agentic AI experience.
• Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, Healthcare, or Public Sector.
