Role Summary:
Flowserve is seeking an Applications Engineer (Aftermarket) for its office in Mendoza. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the estimation and analysis of pump spare parts and components, as well as gradually participating in the selection of mechanical seals and related solutions.
You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with internal teams to develop technical solutions focused on the maintenance, repair, and optimization of rotating equipment.
Responsibilities :
Estimate spare parts and pump components (aftermarket)
Analyze and prepare technical quotations for parts and services
Provide support in the selection of mechanical seals and API plans (with training)
Evaluate technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions
Participate in the analysis of more complex components (e.g., rotors)
Support, in the medium term, pump repair estimations
Collaborate with internal teams in the preparation of techno-commercial proposals
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders
Perform other assigned duties
And any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Materials)
3–5 years of experience as an Applications Engineer or in a similar role (e.g., Inside Sales Representative or Engineer)
Intermediate to advanced English (mandatory)
Previous technical experience (preferred, not mandatory)
Interest in developing within aftermarket and rotating equipment
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP
Work model: 100% onsite in Mendoza
Working hours: Monday to Thursday (08:00–16:45) and Friday (08:00–17:00)
Travel: occasional, mainly for training purposes
