The objective of the Applications Engineer is to provide technical support, evaluate customer requirements, recommend effective engineering solutions, and collaborate with sales, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product selection, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assist customers in selecting products and engineering solutions that meet their application requirements.
- Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support to sales representatives and customers.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and project engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Answer technical inquiries via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Perform engineering calculations related to product sizing and selection.
- Support product testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning when required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project documentation.
- Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and training as needed.
