Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Application scientist with hands-on experience in petrochemical analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC), GC-MS, and Headspace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize methods for petrochemical samples (crude oil, gasoline, diesel, gases)
• Work on applications such as NGA, RGA, TOGA, and DHA etc
• Handle real customer samples and provide technical troubleshooting
• Support customer demonstrations and application discussions
• Prepare application notes and technical documentation
Must-Have Experience:
✔ Hands-on experience with GC / GC-MS / Headspace
✔ Strong exposure to petrochemical applications (mandatory)
✔ Experience with hydrocarbon analysis and ASTM methods
✔ Good troubleshooting and method development skills
Preferred Qualifications
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Petrochemicals, or a related field preferred
Skills Required
- 6-10 years' experience working with GC and/or GC/MS technologies
- University degree in relevant field
- Ph.D. scientist in relevant field
