The Enterprise Services Application team is seeking a motivated intern to support our ongoing Application Transformation and Modernization initiatives. This program focuses on improving the quality, accuracy, and completeness of application data; enhancing lifecycle visibility; and supporting enterprise-wide modernization efforts.


What You Will Do

  • Learn and assist in collecting, validating, and cleansing application inventory data used for transformation planning, reporting, and governance.
  • Collaborate with team members to update and maintain the source of truth for application inventory within ServiceNow to support company-wide OneRTX objectives.
  • Gain exposure to enterprise IT governance frameworks and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Document processes, findings, and data quality issues to support long-term governance practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and working sessions related to App Pulse data enhancements and workflow improvements.
  • Assist with creating simple data visualizations or summaries that help communicate trends or insights, including supporting the team in building basic Power BI visuals.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related technical discipline through the duration of the internship.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience using analysis tools such as Excel functions, Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other comparable platform technologies.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and related concepts.
  • Experience in cloud technologies, including platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with basic data manipulation techniques, including the use of Excel formulas or programming languages like Python.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and effectively summarize findings.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
