The role of Application Engineer – 3D Metrology will involve:
• Execution of custom 3D measurements using multiple technologies (tactile measurements, camera systems, 3D scanning, CT scanning) in the laboratory or at customer sites
• Programming and creation of measurement plans based on technical drawings and customer requirements
• Analysis of customer requirements and proposing suitable technical solutions across various industries
• Training users on measuring devices and software at training centres or on-site
• Presenting advanced 3D metrology equipment at trade fairs, user meetings, and similar events
Your Experience
• A university degree in a technical field, or secondary technical education with relevant experience
• Active knowledge of English, with the ability to participate in international training and projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with experience in 3D metrology
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Understanding of market trends and customer needs
You will ideally have:
• Experience in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with multiple 3D measurement technologies
• Confidence delivering customer training and technical demonstrations
• A Category B driving licence
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and internationally
