The Application Engineer provides hands on technical support to sales teams and customers while helping bring Prinsco products to life through accurate drawings, thoughtful problem solving, and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and quality. This role supports product success from concept through application while maintaining a strong focus on safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will apply engineering knowledge to real world projects by creating layout drawings, supporting product development and testing, and translating engineering concepts into practical solutions. You will work closely with internal partners and contribute to solutions that help customers succeed while strengthening the Prinsco brand.

What you will do Provide technical support to sales and customers for Prinsco products
Create and maintain CAD drawings, layouts, and fabrication details
Support product development, testing, and process improvement efforts
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Continuously learn and cross train to grow technical and professional skills
Work safely and uphold all safety and PPE requirements
What you bring Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering and at least two years of engineering experience
Fundamentals of Engineering exam passed
AutoCAD experience required, 3D software experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively and ethically in a manufacturing environment

QualificationsQualifications- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering and a minimum of two years engineering experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data/facts/drawings to support valid conclusions and to solve practical problems or deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Proficient with MS Office products and AutoCAD experience required with 3D software experience preferred.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds, occasionally.
- Valid driver’s license with the flexible to travel up to 10% to manufacturing sites.
