Bring your energy to Aggreko as Application Engineer – Data Centre Specialist, to engineer and deliver bespoke power and temperature control solutions for data center clients, translating their complex technical needs into successful, reliable Aggreko deployments. This role ensures optimal design, seamless execution, and continuous improvement of our data center offerings.

What you’ll do:
Engineer Custom Solutions: Lead technical discussions with customers to identify specific needs and engineer tailored power and data center solutions using Aggreko's fleet.
Conduct Site Surveys: Perform comprehensive site surveys to assess physical constraints, logistical requirements, and environmental conditions.
Perform Load Calculations: Conduct detailed electrical and thermal load calculations to ensure modular power and cooling solutions meet data center redundancy requirements.
Develop Project Documentation: Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and Project Design Packs (PDP), including single-line diagrams and layout drawings.
Generate Technical Proposals: Produce tailored technical proposals that address customer requirements, critical timelines, and operational pain points.
Support Commissioning & Improvement: Support onsite commissioning and leverage real-world feedback to drive continuous improvement in Aggreko's data center solutions.
You are:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Experience: 5+ years in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architect role within the Data Center industry.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of DC infrastructure (Power, Cooling, Racks, Connectivity, etc.).
Sector Knowledge: Understanding of Data Centre sector technical fundamentals and organizational processes.
Equipment Knowledge: General understanding of power generators, diesel engines, HVAC / Temperature Control equipment, and testing levels in the DC sector.
