Key Responsibilities
Custom Development & Extensibility, Design and develop custom entities, forms, views, and relationships, Implement field types, rollup & calculated fields, develop business rules, plugins, workflows, and custom APIs, Build custom workflows with robust error handling & tracing, Debugging & Troubleshooting, Use trace logs for root cause analysis, Strong capability in performance tuning and issue resolution.
Data Management
Implement data import/export automation, Work with DMF / Data Entities, Configure scheduled jobs, manage data backup, restore, consistency & recovery strategies.
Reporting & Analytics
Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports (RDP, controller, and design artifacts) for D365 F&O.
Implement Electronic Reporting (ER) solutions, including:
- ER data models
- Model mappings
- Format designs
Integrate Power BI with D365 F&O, including:
- Entity‑based reporting
- Embedded Power BI dashboards inside Finance & Operations workspaces
Security:
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS)
Follow security & governance best practices
Customize D365 security model & roles
Manage privileges, duties & access levels
Environment & Production Support
Work across D365 F&O environments (Bronze/Silver/Gold), including Tier‑1 and Tier‑2+ environments.
Support production deployments, hotfixes, and application lifecycle management via LCS.
Provide production support, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution within SLAs.
Collaborate with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
