Job Description
Job Description Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Processing APAC payroll Performing computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, and process exception items or those requiring special handling. Responding to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation. Preparing, maintaining, and compiling various payroll records. Assisting in the maintenance of country specific payroll guidelines and applicable policies and procedures Actively pursue professional developing to stay current on payroll impacting rules and regulations Support APAC BHR partner on HR transactional activities which cannot be resolved by vendors or employee/manager self-service Support China Time tracking requirements (eTIME for China), maintain and process Shift Schedules and Holiday Calendars. Process exception items or those requiring special handling.
Performs computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, and process exception items or those requiring special handling. Responds to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation. Prepares, maintains, and compiles various payroll records. Assignments are typically routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Limited judgment required in resolving standard problems. Close supervision involving detailed instructions where work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting payroll processes in APAC (Singapore/Japan/Korea/China/Taiwan), especially for Taiwan and China
- Excellent attention to details, process management and analytical skills.
- Prior experience managing payroll processes
- Great team player
- Comfortable working in a fast paced , ambiguous and changing environment while showing your abilities to relationships and good communication skills
- You should be able to manage multiple task in the ongoing work, in parallel with taking ownership and leading processes and projects, alongside with being a focal point to your peers.
- Proficiency in English (written and speaking) as well as local language
- Experience of eTime, ADP Celergo, SAP and Workday system will be good
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field required
- Additional information
- Prior HR experience preferably with global tech companies with a European, Asian, and US presence
- At least 3~5 years’ working experience with proven track record of strong payroll experience
- Having relevant GL work experience will be plus
