The Role

Job Description SummaryIn this role, you will collaborate closely with AI Scientists, Product Managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of research projects, ATDs, and product commitments. Leveraging your expertise in the medical domain, data analytics, data engineering, and data annotation, you will support project and program management efforts to deliver products that effectively balance the introduction of new features with the management of defects and technical debt. Your priority is to ensure that the product meets stakeholder requirements, retains functional and technical integrity, and is appropriately scalable.

Job Description

Medical Domain

  • Have good knowledge in radiology
  • Have advanced knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

Data Analytics

  • Understand the clinical background of the product/project
  • Understand the technical background of the product/project
  • Understand the industrial environment of the product/project
  • Understand the data variety of the product/project
  • Define labels, segmentations, metadata to describe the data variety
  • Create annotation guidelines to define the labels and segmentations
  • Discover and implement new technologies
  • Mentor junior colleagues in analytics development process and methods

Data Annotation

  • Annotate and review the annotations
  • Lead minor annotation projects
  • Mentor junior colleagues in annotation tasks
  • Discover and evaluate the existing annotation tools
  • Find or participate in the development of the necessary annotation tools
  • Document the annotation project

 Data Engineering

  • Manage large amounts of data
  • Ensure consistency of datasets
  • Ensure consistency of annotation

 Product Management

  • Take part in the documentation of the 510k process as required
  • Work with cross-functional (design, build, test, process) teams to deliver features and products
  • Understand and follow the proscribed governance process and development methodology for product development
  • Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product

 Project Management

  • Manage, document and report your projects according to the project
  • Knowledge of basic project management tools

 Innovation

  • Able to interpret and present publications and patents
  • Knowledge of state-of-the art literature

 Communication

  • Communicate insights / findings / achievements in a way interpretable to the target audience
  • Present regularly and transparently on progress to stakeholders and management

Education & Skills

 Education Qualification for roles outside USA:

  • Medical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is a plus
