Role Summary and Impact
As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Associate Director who will:
Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data solutions, data pipelines, and workflows that support media performance reporting, business intelligence, and data quality compliance.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and UX designers throughout the design, development, and maintenance of client reporting solutions.
Partner with Data Strategy and Analytics, Investment, Planning, and client stakeholders to define and document data architecture, reporting, and visualization requirements.
Work with offshore teams on CI/CD pipelines to support reliable development and deployment processes.
Migrate internal teams from legacy data platforms to new data solutions, ensuring data quality and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
Onboard new client teams to cloud data solutions, providing guidance and support throughout implementation.
Define quality assurance guidelines and automate existing QA processes to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
Act as a subject matter expert in data quality, business intelligence tools, and business rules, promoting consistent best practices across projects.
Develop tools, processes, and best practices with support from the Director to improve workflows and deliver value to client teams.
Build an understanding of the full campaign implementation lifecycle, including setup, launch, testing, reporting, and reconciliation.
Create and manage project plans, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, coordinating responsibilities across stakeholders.
Lead status meetings and working sessions, proactively resolve project roadblocks, and report progress, risks, and dependencies to the Director.
Stay informed about industry developments, including data privacy, third-party measurement, and consumer trends, contributing to perspectives and recommendations.
Build collaborative relationships across functional teams, clearly communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Skills and Experience
4–5 years of experience in data governance processes within data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence environments.
Experience with the full development lifecycle of an application or reporting solution, from design through testing and deployment.
Advanced knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data warehouses, with experience in technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or Snowflake.
Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
Knowledge of data engineering platforms such as Databricks.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with project and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps/VSTS.
Experience with advertising campaign management, media buying, measurement, and analytics platforms, such as Google Campaign Manager, Sizmek, Flashtalking, Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS, MediaOcean, Media Tools, Nielsen, Comscore, social advertising platforms, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing, Kenshoo, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, or Adobe Analytics.
Understanding of workflows across digital, search, social, and offline media, with experience handling diverse datasets, including paid and owned media data.
Three years of experience in media, digital investment, analytics, or ad operations is preferred.
A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another scientific discipline is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and consistent delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize competing projects, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Confidence working with budgets and numerical data.
