I. JOB PURPOSE     
To provide end-to-end support for Analytics and Reporting applications by ensuring the availability, integrity, and timely delivery of business, financial, regulatory, and management information (MIS) reports across the Ecobank Group. The role is responsible for supporting data analysis activities, report development and maintenance, application configuration, user support, and operational processes that enable accurate decision-making and regulatory compliance. It also provides oversight during critical financial processing periods, supports audit and governance activities, and ensures adherence to established change, configuration, and release management processes to maintain the stability and performance of reporting platforms.

As a member of the Technology Operations team, the role contributes to the reliable delivery, continuous improvement, and operational excellence of technology services in support of the Bank's business objectives.

II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES     
•    Develop complex reports in strict time frames.
•    Provide high quality operational and technical SAP Business Intelligence application and systems support to Ecobank affiliates and internal business functions. Owner of the Problem Management process, ensuring Run the Bank goals are achieved.
•    Minimize the adverse impact of Incidents and Problems on the business and preventing reoccurrence of Incidents.
•    Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the Business Reporting and Analysis support function.
•    Act as a technical resource for internal and external projects.
•    Own all aspects of production management of the following: (1) All Financial reports, (2)All Regulatory Reports, (3) MIS, (4) Dashboards , (5) Web Intelligence tools etc.
•    Assist with the production and data quality of accounting and reporting duties related to regulatory reports
•    Assist with Data Reconciliation and MIS Reporting.
•    Assist with the daily/weekly reconcilement for all general ledger accounts that are assigned.
•    Work closely with the Infrastructure and Database support teams to ensure that business reporting environment is fully secured and optimized for high performance.
•    Execute Scheduled Tasks and Intra Day Application Health checks.
•    Providing 24 x 7 production support coverage on a rotating basis with primary hours being Mon–Fri 5:30 AM-10:00 PM GMT (Weekends required on a rotational basis).
•    Work with business/finance teams to help define new reporting requirements.
•    Reconciles report discrepancies and problems that are assigned.
•    Prepare Documentation related to the business requirements, solutions and functional specifications.
•    Design, create, implement, modify, maintain and support existing reports. Works with internal customers to clearly identify parameters and resulting data.
•    Document, track, and support compliance with Service Level Agreements.
•    Provide assistance to the resolution of Balance mismatches and GL differences.
•    Ensure Remedy Ticket is accurate and regularly updated (statuses, owners, root cause, resolution details and other relevant information.) 
•    Document controls and develop procedural and training materials and workflows for all Support activities.
•    Develop proactive processes designed to alert/eliminate issues before they escalate in priority or business impact.
•    Identify areas where efficiencies can be gained using proactive approach through collection and analysis of metrics (i.e. Assist Technology Team in identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiency using reports and technology).
•    Produce a monthly report for the Team Leader on the operational activities that the Business Analysis & Reporting Support team have conducted during the month. This report is due on the first day of the new month. 
•    Coordinate and perform implementation steps as prescribed in documented plans for system changes, upgrades, installations and outages and follow all change management guidelines.
•    Support scheduled weekend activities (e.g. BCM testing, Data Centre Power down…etc.) of Production applications.

III. JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE    

•    Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
•    3–5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
•    Proven experience in deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
•    Develop an in-depth understanding of Ecobank data sources, tables and data relationships.
•    Reconcilement skills.
•    Proficient with MS Windows (Excel).
•    Must understand and carefully follow security guidelines concerning confidential information.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage and meet assignment deadlines through personal initiative on several simultaneously assigned tasks.
•    Understanding of Basic Accounting.
•    Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting, problem solving, and problem resolution with ability to perform root cause analysis.  
•    Ability to manage a large queue of work with daily shifting priorities and to provide regular status reports as requested. 
•    Considerable knowledge of operating systems, design techniques, query development, systems and programs, programming techniques, methods, approaches and standards.
•    Ability to create and drive a strategy to address customer issues
•    Good exposure to FLEXCUBE corporate database.
•    Ability to own issue resolution, root cause analysis and remediation
•    Sound decision making and critical thinking skills
•    The ability to mentor and coach team members
•    Strong exposure to BI universes, Dashboard and Web Intelligence tools with ability to develop and support complex BO reports.
