As an Analyst in the Supply Chain Analytics CoE, you will bridge the gap between supply chain operations and cutting-edge digital technology. You will be responsible for transforming raw procurement and operational data into actionable insights, automating repetitive workflows, and building intelligent AI agents to support commodity buyers and global operations. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with 1–3 years of experience who is passionate about data visualization, low-code automation, and the practical application of generative AI in a global supply chain environment.
Responsibilities1. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Insight Generation: Analyse procurement data, including tool costs, part costs, and supplier performance metrics, to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain highly interactive, user-friendly dashboards using Power BI, Google Looker, and Dash (Python).
- Reporting: Consolidate data from multiple sources to prepare daily operational summaries (e.g., "Night Letters") and executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
- Database Querying: Write efficient SQL & Google queries to extract and transform large datasets within Google BigQuery (GCP).
2. Workflow Automation & App Development
- Process Automation: Identify bottlenecks in supply chain workflows and design end-to-end automated solutions using Power Automate and Power Query.
- Custom Applications: Build lightweight, user-friendly internal applications using Power Apps to streamline data collection and buyer workflows.
- Legacy Modernization: Convert manual processes and legacy Excel macros into robust, cloud-based automated pipelines.
3. AI Agent Development & Innovation
- AI Agent Creation: Build, test, and deploy conversational and task-oriented AI agents using the Google Agent Development Toolkit (ATK / Vertex AI Agent Builder) to assist buyers with query resolution and data retrieval.
- Python Scripting: Write clean Python code to support data science initiatives, API integrations, and AI agent customization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends and proactively propose innovative digital solutions to the supply chain team.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Operations
- Buyer & Supplier Liaison: Collaborate daily with global commodity buyers and operations teams to understand their pain points and deliver swift, data-driven solutions.
- Cross-Functional Networking: Build strong relationships across global teams, facilitating meetings and maintaining team versatility/skills matrices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence.
Technical Requirements
